A follow up to session titled “Legacy NC: 100 Murals for 100 Counties” at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday Take an air-conditioned ride through downtown Raleigh to see art projects by Max Dowdle. Max will highlight the projects he’s created, and attendees will have the opportunity to engage one-on-one to discuss the potential for projects in their home counties. The tentative mural/art stops are:

A follow up to session titled, “Wake County Housing Affordability: Challenges, Efforts and Outcomes” at 1:30 p.m. on Friday Join us for a tour of Oak City Cares, a public-private partnership near downtown Raleigh serving locals in the community at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Meet with Oak City Cares’ Executive Director, Board Chair, and government and nonprofit partners for a comprehensive look at their collaborative coordinated services.

JOINT CYBER MISSION CENTER Friday, August 25 2:45 - 5:00 p.m.

A follow up to session titled, “Understanding Dynamic Cybersecurity Threats: Insights from the North Carolina National Guard Cyber Security Response Force” at 1:30 p.m. on Friday North Carolina Emergency Management and the NC National Guard will host a tour of the Cyber Security Task Force (CSRF) Joint Cyber Mission Center (JCMC) and conduct live demonstrations of the systems and tools used by cyber warriors in the JCMC to detect and assess malicious cyber activities. The demonstration will highlight how hackers locate vulnerabilities in network infrastructure using open-source tools and techniques readily available on the internet. The demonstration will conclude with recommendations for counties to protect themselves from malicious hackers, with ample opportunity for questions and answers.

Annual Conference registration includes all conference sessions and meals for the registrant, including:
- Lunch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Thursday night’s reception and First Night Celebration dinner
- Friday afternoon’s networking reception
- Saturday morning breakfast
- Coffee and snacks throughout the conference
The following events are not included in the conference registration fee, and separate admission tickets are required to attend:
- Friday, August 25 North Carolina Association of Black County Officials (NCABCO) Scholarship Banquet
- Saturday, August 26 President’s Reception and Banquet

Here are a few tips regarding ticketed events:
- If you have not yet registered for the conference, please visit the Annual Conference Registration page to do so. You must be registered for the conference to participate in any of these additional events.
- We encourage purchasing all tickets in advance. There will be a limited number of tickets available for purchase at the conference registration desk on-site.
- Conference registration includes all conference sessions and meals, except for the NCABCO Scholarship Banquet, Saturday’s President’s Banquet and admission for your guests. Those require separate tickets, which can be selected here.
- Registrants’ children who are 12 and under may attend First Night Celebration free of charge.
